Milton Hydro is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to select a qualified vendor to supply, implement, and support a modern, cloud-native Customer Information System (CIS). The new CIS will replace the existing legacy system and serve as the core operational platform for billing, customer management, field services, and regulatory compliance across Milton Hydro’s service territory.

All bids must be received by the bidding site no later than Friday, August 28^th, 2026, at 2:30 PM (local time).

Milton Hydro will not be responsible for any cost, expense, liability, loss or damage incurred or suffered by a Bidder because of acceptance or rejection of any Proposal, delay in acceptance of a Proposal, or non-award of contract. Kindly note that contractors will not be allowed to park vehicles and equipment in Milton Hydro’s yard.

Please note that the successful bidder will be required to provide liability insurance in the amount of $2 million and WSIB certificates including CAD7 prior to Milton Hydro issuing a Purchase Order.  This shall not delay the expected start date of the tendered work.

The lowest or any quote will not necessarily be accepted and Milton Hydro reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
